I have an '82 model 1617 and accordinding to Ovation's numbering system the 1 (3rd #) indicates a deep bowl (5 13/16") and the 7 (4th #) indicates a Glenn Campbell Artist Balladeer. So am I to believe then that I have a Glenn Campbell model Ovation? The numbering designation on this web site states that the 17 (3rd and 4th #'s) indicate a Deluxe Balladeer. Which guitar do I have?

Moody's right and it is also known as a deluxe balladeer before Regend. If it was a xx27 it would be a glen. xx17 was a regend ( so solly, been speeking Japaneese ratery)
