Location: south east Michigan | Well, it’s that time of year already.
Time to order the 2009 OFC Calendar.
This is the 4th year now that we have done this so most of you know the drill.
As before they are $29.00 each… all shipping included… even across the pond.
$29.00 by check or Paypal this year. We had been asking a couple bucks more to cover PayPal fees but we won’t do that this year.
Payable by check or PayPal……
PayPal account is at….. BPBDS@COMCAST.NET under the ebay name SKIPKID1954 (yes sKipkid with a K)
Or:
Send a check to….
Brad Durasa
7262 Audubon
Algonac, MI 48001
Be sure to provide a ship to address.
For the newbies, all proceeds beyond printing and shipping fees goes to the OFC upkeep fund. There are no “dues” to pay in this club but some expenses do occur. These calendars are large format, top notch, first class & professional as you’ll see anywhere.
But we are going to do things a little different this year. We have a pretty good and consistent track record on sales numbers so taking a page from Dave’s game plan we are going print up a certain number of calendars and that’s it. When they’re gone, they’re gone. This gives ‘Zilla a break because he won’t have to wait for final sales numbers to start the presses. Better yet, we plan on getting them out a few weeks earlier to lessen the drama and turmoil (…Stephen) that we have had in the past.
So based on past sales the production number shall be….. 45. When they’re sold, that’s it.
We’re taking what I think is an acceptable risk going to print before orders have been placed and paid for but I believe this group will come though.
First come, first serve.
Have at it gentlemen. |

Thanks.
Ya know, it seems like every year the last ten calendars are always the hardest to sell.
So I've been thinkin' and this is what I'm going to do. For the next 10 orders I'm going to sell these last ten first. Are ya able to follow my logic here??? That means that the most difficult ones to move will be already be sold and the in between numbers that always sell easy will.... well they'll sell easier.
Brilliant, eh!?!
I don't know why I didn't think of this before. |

Steve & I have talked about adding more descriptive verbage to the calendar this year. In past years production deadlines have kinda gotten in the way.
If it works out, Steve will let me know what pic he is using and I'll run down the info from the owner. Steve has enough to do already. Again.... this is a maybe. |

As far as sales totals, looks like we sold about 10 fewer this year. |

if they are found to be LOST Time for a new GPS, Phil... Funny that you should mention it. I actually bought a new Garmin GPS 880 that speaks the street names. It still has some of the same quirks that my other one had but hearing street names makes it that much easier to drive and not get lost. The source that the Garmin maps use is not always accurate. It may not be their fault.
The hospital where I work always used the address 80-45 Winchester Blvd. According to the GPS that address is at the corner by the bus stop and the main entrance to the hospital is in the middle of the block. I have been working in the hospital for 22 years and only this year the hospital realized that their actual address is 79-25 Winchester Blvd. |
