I have an Ovation Model #1117-1 with serial #044743 made in New Hartford in 1975. Unfortunately I have to sell it (gotta pay for my son's school fees)... but I have NO clue how much to ask for it. It's in BEAUTIFUL shape.. only 2 very small nicks in the varnish. It's a beautiful guitar and comes witha seiko digital tuner. How much would you ask??

Thanks in advance!

The guitar is probably worth about $350. Take good pictures of it, and put it on ebay with an openning bid of a buck, but with a private reserve of $350. Put it on a 10 day auction.

Anybody else have any other thoughts?

AN alternative would be to post a free classified ad in G base using this link G base with an appropriate amount added for shipping (or the proviso that shipping costs to be paid by the buyer). Kari, since you are in Canada you may want to go the eBay route to reach a larger "viewing public" ;) .
