I bought another Breadwinner yesterday, mostly because it was cheap & had an original case. It's going to be my new slide guitar, once I finish horse-trading parts with our resident private eye. I stripped it down to pull out a pickup to send to Mr Moody & written under the pickguard was my old zip-code. I owned & sold this same guitar about 16 years ago!!!! Since I sold it the pre-amp has been removed but is with the guitar and is for sale if anyone wants to make me an offer before it goes on Ebay. The guitar now has a Viper neck pickup in place of the humbucker which is currently on its way to California, and a Viper bridge pickup is going in the middle when Paul sends it over, should be killer. I'm off to try it out on a gig right now

Paul

paul I would take it but shipping from the uk would not make it worth while to me
congrats on finding an old friend.
plus I thought they used postal codes not zip codes in the UK

I sent you an email on this but wanted to make certain that you knew that I had pulled my bid on the Deacon pickups and electronics on ebay. If you want them, nows the time to keep an eye on them.

Al, shipping to the US on this will be aout $6/7 by regular airmail.

We do have postcodes but as the majority of the board members are in the US I was making allowances that our 2 nations are occasionaly divided by a common language.

Gigged the new/old Breadwinner last night, worked great, can't wait to get the 3rd PU from Paul M.

paul, my old breadwinner, complete with dice for control knobs and an eagle painted on the back is without a pre amp. perhaps it would be good for me as well as the the baladeer stuff you have. let me know what its worth and if you know what it might cost to send it to los angeles.

Take a look at this

I know the bid will have to $100 to be the high bid, but it might be worth it to you. I was going to buy this , but am getting the pickup I need from Mr. Templeman.
