Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | $890 for a us made guitar in thailand seems fair. hell i seem to remember paying what seemed ALLOT for mere unprocessed plant material wrapped around a little stick that came from thailand back in those enLIGHTening 60's. by the pound, that balladeer was a bargain! |

Location: Scotland | In the early days the 1111 Balladeer was available only as an acoustic model. The Custom Balladeer was available in both acoustic (1112) & electro(1612) versions & had fancier fingerboard inlays and metal raher than plastic-bodied Schallers, apart from that they're essentially the same guitar. By the time the original 1111 was discontinued the 4-digit number system stopped making a whole lot of sense.
