Living here near the border, I enjoy listening to them, when I worked in El Paso and drove 70 miles each way I always had 2 or 3 buttons on the radio set for the contemporary Mexican stations. I'll stick out my neck and say they beat metal, rap, etc. by miles or kilometers.
