The western contingent on the board has complained that they can't afford the trip and I have researched some money saving transportation methods all of which were spurned with some very uncomplimentry remarks. I think I got it right this time, there is a group here in Las Cruces that is lobbying for the experimental reusable space vehicle to be based north of town at a little town called Upham. I checked with them and they agreed that we (the western contingent) could participate in the very first flight of this vehicle. There is room for 30 to 50 passengers depending on the number of intruments and personal effects brought along. The seating is primitive as this is a maiden voyage (not virgin) they gaurantee a good takeoff but say landing may be rough. Time of flight is 17 min and 48 sec, I need the exact coordinates of the factory to feed into their controls, as soon as we get that we'll be ready. See you on March 28th at 12:17:48 in your lunch room.

Location: Las Cruces, NM | I forgot to mention blastoff time is 12 noon on march 28. The cost with group discount is $270 million unless the reusable vehicle is damaged or destroyed then it goes up to 1.3 billion. I have that covered as my car insurance covers any vehicle I drive, I'll set up front by the steering wheel and the survivers can say I was driving. Peanuts and a 6 oz beer will be served so be ready to have fun, a 2 bar jam session will be organized at the weightless portion followed by a harmonious scream till we land. |
