1st Night out w/new 1778T

dvonb Posted 2002-10-23 8:00 AM (#216984) Subject: 1st Night out w/new 1778T Joined: October 2002 Posts: 23 Location: Kentucky I just played out for the first time with my new Elite T last night and could not get over how many people marveled over it's looks and sound. I had been playing with a mid-level Martin and never really grabbed anyones' attention. As soon as I pulled out my Black Elite T people started to comment on how "cool it looks". Then when I plugged into my amp and played, nearly everybody had something positive to say. "I never new Ovations could sound that good" was mentioned a couple times as well. While other's opinions don't make you play better, it was a weird but helpful vibe that I had not expected. alpep Posted 2002-10-23 8:53 AM (#216985 - in reply to #216984) Subject: Re: 1st Night out w/new 1778T Joined: December 2001 Posts: 10582 Location: NJ i think if the conditions are positive you ALWAYS play better....I went to a jam once and the next day the bass player called me and said the harp player really liked my playing he said to the bass player "How did Al learn to channel the spirit of Jimi Hendrix" I thought that was a good compliment.
