Whenever I find an Ovation pic file that's cool or of interest, I squirrel it away in my "ovation" folder (sort of like my own "digital reference library").

During lunch at my desk today, I was flipping through it and noticed something "odd".

The pics were originally culled from someone's webpage displaying his vast and varied "collection". One of the guitars in the collection just didn't look "quite right".

The guitar in question was being touted as a "Custom Tangent" when in actuality it was the EXACT photo used previously of a black Celebrity with the epaulets "airbrushed" out (rather poorly, I might ad) and a different headstock added from yet ANOTHER picture from his collection! To add insult to injury, the headstock wasn't even FROM a Tangent and it was "pasted" on at a bad angle!

Dude....if by chance you might be a member here and are reading this....drop me a line.
I live, breathe, and eat PhotoShop! I can give you some pointers or at LEAST turn you on to a couple of good books on the subject. If you're gonna do this kinda crap....for chissake's do it RIGHT!!!

So....."A" for effort, "F" for style?! Forgery is more an art than science, anyway.
