Location: Central Oregon | Did anyone else see the lady comedian playing the black ovation on The Comedy Channel this weekend? I think it was Saturday Night Stand-Up. I've forgotten her name, but she sang a pretty funny little song. I don't know what kind of Ovation it was, other than it was black with a single round sound hole & a lot of "something white looking" around it. I think it was an acoustic but it may have been ac/elec. Definitely an Ovation though. I was about asleep when she came on & I went to bed right after. I hope I didn't dream it, but if I did I hope I remember that little song some day....

Location: Kansas City, MO | If it looked anything like the one in the photo at the bottm of this page, it was a Custom Legend. The "white stuff" around the edge is abalone inlay. If not, then your guess is as good as mine.

Location: NJ | This past weekend I took my daughter to see "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" (HER choice! - I wanted to see Bond!).
Anyway, in the "wedding scene" toward the end of the movie I THOUGHT that had caught a glimpse of a left-handed Ovation headstock amidst the wedding band (possibly a slotted 12 string).
Did anybody else catch this?
Is there anyone else that'll readily admit to seeing the movie? |

Location: Central Oregon | I would never be able to see it even if I wanted to because I would never be able to walk up to the little window with the hole in it & say to the lady "I'd like two tickets to my big fat greek wedding." Nope, never happen.
