Location: Canada | I have a crack in my finish on my Ovation Celebrity Accoustic which stems from the bridge all the way across to the bottom of the guitar. It seems it is only in the finish and has not affected the wood underneath. Any ideas on how to repair it? and if I bring it out to repair, anyone know about how much it'll cost? I know the guitar's not worth much but it is my first and has a lot of sentimental value. |

Location: Scotland | If the crack is in the finish only then live with it, a repair would not be cost effective, as it would involve refinishing the entire top, couple of hundred at least. |

Location: NJ | If he's the original owner, isn't it covered under warranty? Or is that just for the USA's? |

Location: Canada | I doubt that kinda stuff is covered by warranty and furthermore it's only a Celebrity so I doubt I get any special preference the USAs get. |

Location: Nova Scotia, Canada | My brother has a Celebrety 12-string that was about a year old. The bridge came off and they ended up giving him a new guitar! This was last spring.
Dosen't hurt to check.

Location: Parkersburg, WV | I purchased a Celebrity Deluxe in April of this year and kept the warranty card. The limits on the Limited Lifetime Warranty states that Ovation will cover Materials and Labor for the first Two Years. After that Ovation will cover materials only, not labor and service. |
