Hi guys,

Are the classic ovation series truly in the classic/spanish genre? Do they have the 2" + neck and 12 frets to the sound board? Are there any acoustic electric with the nylon strings? As always your knowledgeable input is greatly appreciated.

cedar top, 12 frets to the body, 2" wide nut, acoustic electric. It's a great guitar and I'm only selling it to finace another older Ovation.

Harold,
Some are the 2" and some are just a touch under. Most players of these are country or jazz guys although there have been a few "classical" guys too, but not many. Only those that wanted to be heard past the 10th row so they plugged in.

Thanks Guys,

The guitar looks good in the pictures Paul. I just bought an Alvarez classical and with Christmas coming... well, you know how the story goes. I sure would rather have another Ovation though.
