Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Hello, my name is Paul Hebert. I am a long time Ovation fan, and Ovations are the only guitars I play. My main guitar is a 1981 Ovation Adamas. That guitar has done everything right for me for the past 21 years. I truly can play noting else. I recently picked up a 1990 Custom Balladeer that was sitting leaning against the wall of a friend of mine. The guitar had never been used. I offered to buy if from him but he gave it to me! How lucky is that? I look forward to sharing my thoughts and listening to the thoughts of other Ovation fans. Thank you....Paul Hebert |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Thanks for the welcome everyone. I am proud to be with a group who appreciate Ovation guitars. I remember before I got my Adamas I was at a local music store. There was this guy who worked there putting down Ovation guitars. As soon as I got my Adamas, I went to that store and let everyone there play it. They were all amazed how good that gutar sounded. I just smiled because that awesome guitar was coming home with me!....Paul Hebert |

Welcome to the board. I would guess that if your friend gave you a good guitar like that, that he must think highly of you. I'm here because I have a Viper solid body and since I joined, I have been spending much time admiring the many acoustics that have been discusssed and portrayed in photos. I think you'll enjoy the repartee here and find some excellent advice from some real experts.
