Ode to Schaller tuning keys

One wise choice Ovation made on my Adamas back in 1981 was the choice to use Schaller tuning keys. After years of alot of playing, they are still as good as new. I guess I don't think about the keys that often. But that is a good thing. We sure would think about them if our nice Ovations went out or tune alot. I know the Celebrities have been using Ping for a while but what about the upper end US made ones? I checked out the local music shop today and checked out this shallow bowl celebrity. What's up with the new necks??? They're like V shaped and not round and comfy like they used to be. A lot thicker now. Really disappointed. My 1687 Adamas is also by for the best guitar I have ever owned. I just love it!
