I have threatened to visit JeffreyD several times, but he probably isn't intimidated anymore. The weekend of October 18 is my first free one in months, so if Jeff agrees and some of the Washington guys want to try to meet halfway, I might load up the Pilot with guitars and drive over. I was in LaGrande last weekend, but never made it over the pass.
My daughter will also be driving back to Portland that weekend, so I figured I could caravan half way. Jeff would have to promise not to sell me his 2080, though. If that happened, it would be my last free weekend.

Like you guys could or would come to Hermiston for the weekend. I flew from North Carolina to Seattle for the NW gig for the 4th of July.

Sorry Mark, I'll be in Narth Co'lina on the 18th...

I truly wish you and soooo many others could make it. If ya do meet up out there, take lotsa pics!

Actually, my bride and I would love to head back out to the Tater State... many, many fond memories and some great ol' friends out there! Looks like I missed the Kokanee run again...

Bummer, Mark, I'm flying out on a business trip on Sunday the 19th, so I won't be able to break away for the 18th. But if somebody from Portland was heading out there, or somebody was passing through, they could certainly bring along some of my toys if so desired. ;)

Speaking of Kokanee, we were at Wallowa Lake last weekend and the redfish were in the river. I could have reached in and grabbed one if I wanted. This year was supposed to be the best in several. I took several pictures, but the light was so bad they didn't turn out very well.

I give up. I'm taking a wild guess on the F word, but I can't figure out the A word.

Wallowa Lake? Yeah, it's cold enough.

Welcome back, Jeffy.

Didn't have the flash adapter or fishing apparatus, but had the other two.

Well......hows that for timing. I will be finishing up the last of the Pineapple/Guava cocktails on the 18th getting ready to climb into a big aluminum shipping container and returning back to the mainland.

In othe words....drats...missed it by that much. Sorry. :( :(

I haven't/ain't sold/selling the 2080 yet (although I am not sure you didn't mean 2008C...but hey?). I loaned it to a friend while we are gone.

Sorry I wasn't able to chime in sooner....been pretty busy at work and haven't even checked the boards today.

Looks like I'll spend the weekend at the cabin, then. It's definitely not Hermiston. It's not in the middle of anything unless you live in nowhere.
Jeff, I knew your 08C wasn't for sale, so there was no risk that I'd be bringing that home. I still want to try it out though. Maybe we can work some guitar swaps on my trips back and forth to Portland.

We will get something going one of these days. If nothing else, I need to put some time on the Cherokee, so maybe some crisp winter Saturday a day trip to Boise for Lunch and guitar comparison's is in order.

How about a guitar and ski trip? Nice little airport in McCall. Brundage is a nice little ski area about 5 miles away. Tamarack is about 10 miles away, but it's in bankruptcy trouble right now. I just noticed that I couldn't come up with any better adjectives than nice and little, but that pretty much describes it.
