Hi,
I'm looking to buy a Balladeer model and have been looking on eBay.
In some items, the sellers provide a clear picture of the label seen through the sound hole with the grey color (Made in New Hartford, CT).
In a few other, I'd see a fuzzy label with blue background and could not make out the wording.

Can someone please clear up the significance of the background color?

Your response is greatly appreciated.

The labels will give a rough indication of the era the guitar was produced. Very approximately it's something like; White square label - 60's. bronze foil oval label-70's, blue oval - late 70's to maybe early 90's, small grey oval - current. Sam, Bill or one of the factory members could probably get the dates more accurate
