I have a Balladeer model 4861. I know, it's korean made. But it's a nice guitar. I just noticed that one of my tuners is broken. For those of you that are familiar with the tuners on this guitar, the tube that surrounds the shaft that goes through the headstock has seperated from the gear housing. The metal where the seperation occured is quite thin.
I plan to attempt a fix with something like J.B. Weld for the time being.
My question is where can I buy a replacement tuner or a set of tuners? The tuner does have the "Ovation" logo. Inside it says "Made in Korea".
I bought the guitar used so it's not a warranty situation.
I've included a picture of the broken tuner. I hope it can be viewed. Any help and/or suggestions that anyone provides will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

customer service. They should be able to hook you up with some new ones.

I think there are two posts on Ebay right now for tuners. I think one if gold and the other is silver.

Here's one of them:

I contacted the dealer that I purchased my Balladeer from. He contacted Ovation. Ovation sent a new tuner free of charge. I'd say that says a lot for a company to stand behind one of their guitars even though it was purchased used.

I'm happy now ...
