I'm sitting here waiting for the UPS man to deliver my 1778T!!!! Can't wait. I will post my initial thoughts on this fine guitar when it comes. Bye!

I love this guitar. It is by far the best sounding Ovation (unplugged) I have ever heard. Plugged in the OP30 sounds great. The case (8158) is outstanding. My only complaint is the rough finish on the corner where my forearm rests. Its a little painful. I will just get a John Pearse armrest in ebony and slap it on. I am also going to put ebony tuner buttons on it. This is a fine sounding, looking, and playing guitar. Great value, as well. I paid $619 w/ case.

Glad to hear you like your T, I have supported it from day one as the American made affordable guitar and everyone who buys one has been as impressed as yourself. We have to break this difference between the collectors who want a $10,000 guitar and the players who want something that sounds good but doesn't break the bank. Sorry if this looks fuzzy, I lost my glasses and the insurance hasn't replaced them.
