I have a 1980 Ovation Balladeer that I gave myself as a high school graduation present oh so many years ago. It's the first real guitar I bought, and to this day it's still my #1 acoustic/acoustic electric. (I sent it back to the factory in 96(?) and had the Optima electronics package put in.) I've never played an acoustic that has the action, feel, or sweet sound like my Ovation.
