Hello,

I want to try a CS247 guitar,
If there is someone that own one, please give me your opinion, I talk about USA model,

Is it a good choice if I play a lot without plugging the guitar on the amp?

I have seen someone playing with this guitar once and the sound was interresting

thanks,

I own a CS247 and I think it's a really nice guitar for the money. I'm not sure if the CS247 model in France is the same as the one in the USA. The one I have is a Korean made mid-depth Celebrity Deluxe in Green Quilt (the only color it comes in).

I think the consensus is that the mid-depth/deep bowl guitars sound better unplugged than the super-shallow ones. So if you're playing unplugged most of the time, I think the mid-depth is a good choice. I also think they don't slide as much when playing seated.

thanks for your advice,

In Françe, we have the choice between korean and américan guitars too.

I allready own a yamaha apx-4 and a taylor big baby, two guitars with a body that is not 'full-size'

if this is less noticiable with the big baby, the sound is less powerfull and I'm fed up with that.

I want a guitar that give a sound just a little more powerfull, at last with medium jauge strings without plugging it.

what are the differences between the korean and the usa model?
exempted the prive that is a little less than half for the korean.

In the US, the only CS247 model available is the Celebrity Deluxe (Korean) with a laminated top (spruce or maple). There is also a CU247 Pinnacle Deluxe (also Korean) with a solid spruce top.

The nearest US made models in price are the Balladeer (center hole) and the Elite (multi-hole). They're also solid spruce, but more expensive than the Celebrities or Pinnacles.

I hope this helps.
