Location: new york, ny | I've been searching on ebay and found this interesting 'O'-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2503353232&categ...
Is this colour for real? Should I avoid this odd O? does it have a chrom. tuner?
My main question is what are the differences between the 2001 Collector's ed., the elites, and the CS 247/57? Do any of these sound particularly better than the others?
I'm looking for a 15 hole mid-depth body w/chrom tuner for around $300-500. Locking tuners would be nice as well. |

Location: SoCal | Oh man, you don't ask for much!
The Celebrity line is all made in Korea. The Elites and Collectors are made in the USA. You get what you pay for.
The newer Celebs have a chromatic tuner. It doesn't look like the one for sale on ebay does. And yes, the color is for real. If you're gonna buy it, you'd better like it a lot. |

| Oh yeah, there is a big difference between the Celebrity and the Elite and a Collector. In my opinion, the Collector series rocks. I love 'em. I have a Celebrity Doubleneck and a Celebrity Collector, but they don't have the sound and feel of a USA Ovation. The color is personal choice, but yes, that is indeed the color.

| It sort of looks like a 3/4 size for kids. |

Location: east coast | I bought this model last year and very happy with it and for the money it is well worth it so far. I did buy it online brand new for not much more than the e-bay item and was able to get the hard case for $79.00 more. The 247 is mid depth and the 257 is a shallow depth which make a big difference when only playing acousticaly. Action is also nice. |
