has Ovation ever produced a traditional acoustic, all wood? or have they been too leary of deviating from their successful bowl design? i think they should give it a shot, what do they have to lose besides their reputation...

There is one guitar. Brazilian Rosewood bowl. Adrien Legg Kbar neck with tiger maple fingerboard. Built by a Ovation employee just to see what it would be like. It is a nice thing. But the average joe would never be able to afford it.

Was that the guitar the was briefly on ebay about a year ago? I wanted to save the pictures of it, but when I went back a day later, it was gone. I'd love to see it again.

By the way, the thought of having a woodie always puts a smile on my face.
