Location: ma. | does anybody (guitar builders etc.) know where i can find a source for inexpensive STICK-ON rosettes? i've been all over the net under guitar building supplies but it's all INLAID rosettes, which is way more than i'm looking for. i know it's out there but i can't find it. |

Location: Scotland | Touchstone Tonewoods in the UK do waterslide rosette transfers for about $5 for 2, part No. 9628. These are Classical guitar style. I can't ever recall seeing the basic concentric ring style as used on steel-string guitars as a transfer, but as lots of oriental-origin instruments use them they must be out there.

Location: Scotland | Here's a possibilty. I just remembered that a Luthier friend of mine makes his own headstock decals using special waterslide inkjet paper. You could design your own rosette on your PC and print it onto this paper. Check out;

It's a UK site but the company is based in Florida |
