Location: South of most, North of few | But I couldn't resist. Found this one on Craigslist and the price was right. Went to see it and found it to be in real nice condition. The only issue is a very small piece of one eppie missing. No nicks, dings, no fret wear, strings were shot, but what can I say... Should match up with the 1537 nicely if it ever gets back from the spa.
Looks good with the rest of the present family too...

Location: South of most, North of few | It's a deep 1768. About as close to a 1547 as you can get. Believe me, it sounds as good as any I've played. |

Location: South of most, North of few | yeah man, I can't believe how nice this one sounds. I remember the 1718 I had at one time, and it sounded great, but this one has really mellowed over the years. From the serial number, looks to be an early '88. |

Is this one of the ones you've only had once? Even more impressive!

Location: The State of Hockey | I'll tell you I am not lusting after the FD-14 anymore. I really like the JW. I like the 12 fret wide neck. The tone is a lot warmer than my other Ovations. It is the only guitar I am playing now. Thanks for selling it to me, I glad to see you have another one too. |
