EMG Pickups

I've had some experience with the EMG 85s and 89s but I'm looking for some replacement pickups for a guitar I play mainly jazzy/blues and perhaps some soft rock on. How are the EMG 60s? I don't want to sound like a walking (or typing) billboard, but check out Bill Lawrence pickups. I have a set of L465 in one of my GP's and I gotta say I'm more than happy with it.
