Very neat, nice guitar and interesting story. I lived in Poway from 1962 to 1980 so I knew a little about the area. I loved living there but the population got too big.

Thanks Bailey and Miles. I found it quite funny that Sonica makes ovation like clones. I put a link on my website just to show that they aren't really up to par with Ovations.

later,

Hey Nashville,

Are you using any type of wax on the neck. I read in the manual to use some type of paste to keep the allwood neck clean. Have you tried that?

I never have used wax, although I just recently purchased it

I picked up my 2002AC last April. I love it. I think it is one of the "secret" guitars that Ovation didn't promote well.

Perfect timing. I love you guys :D

Good input on the 2002-AC.

Great link to some reviews also.

The next best thing to being able to actually play one.

I'm beginning to think my initial instinct was right in wanting one of these guitars.

I also thought that some day it would be a nice hand-me-down for my grandson who was born in 2002.

But you know kids  He'll probably wish I had saved the Anniversary Strat for him

Thanks again for a great forum.

Mike
