Location: Australia | I have just purchased a brand new Elite Special S778 and after 4 weeks the rosettes (or epaulets, I think they're called) are cracking and peeling away from body. Has anyone else experienced this? I have sent back to shop for warranty but this guitar was not cheap and would prefer a replacement. What should I expect/demand?????
I have a 14 yr old Maton 12 string which has lasted fully strung in the same conditions - any comments welcomed.

Location: Central Oregon | I have never dealt with Ovation customer service, but I've been hanging around this forum for a while now & everything I've read indicates that the Ovation service department is quite good. I imagine someone here will even give you someone's name to ask for to help resolve your problem.

Location: NJ | if the guitar is new ans you bought it new then all you need to do is contact customer service. |
