That's one of the reasons why I bought it ;)
(that, and it has PLENTY o'room (32 cu. ft.) to haul all of my equipment around in.)

Cliff,
Nice touch putting the Ovation logo on the back of the car. Now I know which PT to steal that has a Slothead inside.

I had the prototype for your PT. My uncle Bailey sold me his 1937 2 door Ford fastback in about 1951 in excellent condition. It had an AM radio, a West Wind gasoline heater, 3 on the floor, and a flathead Ford 85 horse engine. It was pretty fast for the times, and I proceeded to abuse it pretty badly, probably accelerating both my uncle's and my dad's demises by a few years. I still can hear that thing in my mind on an early morning trip at 4 AM to help a neighbor milk cows and earn some money to pay for it and then come home to milk our cows. Ford flatheads have (or had) a distinctive sound when they are (were) in good shape and running good. I miss that early PT cruiser.

Bailey

It was gray with black front fenders as my uncle had put new front fenders on it due to Ohio winter rust.

I'm thinking of painting it up like a London taxi and calling it the "Paul Templeman Cruiser".

You'd need to put the steering wheel on the other (wrong) side to do that.
