Location: england | Hi all!! I have been a big fan of Ovation for years just like the rest of you, I realise this may sound like somebody wishing to bragg about how cool his toys are. I bought my double neck in 1996 which is truly fantastic guitar, but I recently just bought Richie Samboras triple neck guitar.
When I first saw it I was so dissapointed it was smaller than I expected, the frets had gone rusty the paint was all greased up, (as you would expect from a touring working guitar)it was in a poor condition. Once I'd cleaned her up she became the most AMAZING guitar. It is an impressive piece of engineering if nothing else. Made 1988, it is a shallow bowl with mandolin, 6 string and 12 string 2 OP24 pre-amps and three swicthes M, 6 and 12. It plays great and turns alot of heads but it is heavey, no wonder he only ever used it for 8 minuets. People can buy there 1959 Les Paul or the Hendrix Strats I would part with money for this every time!! It just looks Cooool!! sfp.scottvil@ntlworld.com

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | Yeah, post a pic, we'd love to see it. I looked at a double-neck at Mars music when it was going-out-of-business, I guess it was the Celebrity Deluxe, but I could have sworn it was a Meliisa Ethridge signature. There were several Ovations all placed together and there was some other ME signatures - did they make a ME signature double neck or is my memory foggy??? Anybody???
They were marked way down, but I couldn't afford any of them at the time...
