Location: Germany | I own some Elite Limiteds (5858 / 5868). Anybody know when they were really built? According to their serial numbers they were built in 1990 / 1991, but they only appear in US catalogs in 1992 and 1993, and in German ones even as late as in 1994 for the first time. Did they store the finished guitars for a couple of years before selling them, and if so, why? Even Kaman themselves were not quite sure about the real build years. |
