Hi,
I recently bought a 1997 Elite 6778 and love it but I get a lot of feedback when I plug it into my Yorkville AM100 amp. Any thoughts on how to deal with this?
Tks

At moderately loud volumes, you will get feedback. You can try to notch filter it out, which works pretty well but does color the sound. THe other option is to get a set of airlocks. They are rubber plugs that fit in all the little soundholes in your guitar. They work to kill the feedback and they do not color the amplified sound at all. The non-amplified sound is a bit dead with the airlocks in, but they are easily removed in about 15 seconds. Alpep is where I got mine.

Thanks for the fast response. I didn't know those things were available but what is Alpep? I Googled the name and didn't get anything useful; do you have a web site?

Thanks again. I just found his web site. I'll give him a call tomorrow and order a set.
