Just got a '97 Balladeer 1751 12-string I bought on eBay, and am pleased to report that it is a healthy one with all 12 tuning machines. I had never played an Ovation 12, but WOW, this thing sounds like silk! Gotta get some help with this GAS problem. 4 cases are about all I can justify having in one closet! :D |

As for the GAS problem, only 4? You've got a ways to go....

Location: Dallas, GA, USA | Just curious, the reference section model/serial # chart doesn't directly refer to this model. The usual "1" starting digit, "7" for deep bowl... but the closet 3rd and 4th digit are either "11" for standard Balladeer (deep), or "15" for deep 12-string. Is there something I'm missing, or is the reference a work in progress?
Bradley, I'll admit you have worse GAS than me. But maybe that's a good thing. :D
I think I need to get rid of the Celebrity and find something to take its place. Maybe an A/E bass. |

Good luck with the real baby!!!

Good luck with your 12 string baby, I hope to indulge myself in one someday. A good 12 string definately has a presence. The rest of you that are listing your stashes of way more guitars than anybody in their right mind would need, I can assuage your conscience and take the unneeded 12 strings off your hands, and I won't charge you a cent.

Location: Dallas, GA, USA | Yep, just uploaded a pretty bad photo of it. The part line of the soundboard shows up far more in the photo than it does in "real life". Still lovin' it, plays great and sounds great. I just dread when I have to change the strings. :D |
