I am considering a couple of used 12 strings. I have seen both of theses models for sale. Does anyone know the difference? They both seem to be mid-depth bowls and in newer models both are cut away.

As far as I can tell "1751" is an older model number, the guitars appear to be identical except for the non-cut on earlier 1751's. The current 6751 will have an Op30, I guess the 1751 or an older 6751 would have an Op24+

I could be wrong here (wouldn't be the first time), but my recollection is that 1751 is deep bowl and 6751 is mid depth bowl. Is that right?
Is it also possible 1751 has a 5 piece neck and 6751 has a 2 piece? As Paul states, the electronics will change over time and are not reflected in the model number. Dave

Dave, Balladeers haven't had a 5-piece neck since the late '70's, but your're right about the depth, the 1751 is a deepbowl according to the 97 catalog.
