Location: Phoenix AZ | I had a great time at the OFC tour, but in hind sight the damn thing turned out to be a lot more expensive then I planned on. Let me explain. I have always been a big 12 string fan, but limited to woodies and storms. I have a 6 string Adamas but never thought too much about needing (?) an Adamas 12 stringer. But DAMN if there weren't some drop dead Adamas 12's at the jam session. And being played by some darn good musicians, I might add. Particularly WOZ, I can never forgive you for letting me play your Adamas 12 because from that night on I just had to have one. So now I've done the dirty deed and there is a black Adamas II 12-stringer in mint condition on it's way to my house. Word of advice to anyone planning to attend a factory tour in the future - DON'T DO IT. You will get a serious case of GAS like you've never had before. Dave |

Cool!
Yeah, that definitely is a very nice piece that Woz owns there. My memory is a little cloudy (probably from the keg there and the shots of tequila), but was that Woz's guitar that you played at your turn on the stage?
btw:
For those who might not have Bin Dhair (Yushuddah!), Dave did an AWESOME version of the song that Glen Campbell used to play at the very end of his TV shows. I was never a huge GC fan, and I'd all but forgotten about that song, but when Dave played it, it all came back to me and I came away with a new appreciation for that particular song. What's the title of it, by the way? Very pretty song. And once again, TWO Thumbs Up on your rendition. Good Job!!
Much Happiness with the 12! |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Yes I did use WOZ's guitar, formally owned by Dubbya-2. Paul was ALMOST right about the song title. "Pave Your Way Into Tomorrow" was the closing number starting with the SECOND season, when Larry McNeely joined the band. The song that I played at the Jam as the first seasons closer called "Natural To Be Gone" by John Hartford.
Paul's visiting my place next weekend and maybe we'll just push the REC button on the old tape machine and whip out a version of EACH. I guess we're too late to make it onto the OFC CD (ha ha).

Location: RI. That small State out East | Dave, I had great fun listening to you streatch that 1979 gem. I'm glad you found what you were looking for. I've had a "interesting" 10 days and am back from an open heart valve repair. To help fight the "poor me" depression my lady of soon to be 30yrs. Bid and won an 1983 Elite! Now I get to look forward to the end of the week for the new arrival. When she shows... I will get pic's of the familly for everyone to see.
Being a closet player... I find great joy letting, or introducing others to what I feel lucky to own.
Dave while you played my 12string others looked my way to say nice. I will always remember it.
Good time.
I hope to make next year if it go's again.

(cuz NOW I'm gonna hold you TO it!) :D
You really DO have to see it!
That goes for everybody else too, that was "on the fence" and decided not to go. Ya' GOTTA do it!
The Tour in itself was awesome, but the extra-curricular comeraderie is what makes the whole thing worth the effort/expense. |

Location: Waterloo, IL | What are the plans for another Factory tour? Next year? Early enough for me to make the trip before I retire from the Navy and leave Virginia for the St. Lois area? As much as I wanted to make the last trip, things in the Middle East kept me otherwise detained.
