I was surprised to find out he was 80 although I knew he had to be up thee in age. I could not imagine giving up Elvis but in the process he paved the way for Jerry lee louis Johanny Cash Carl perkins etc Sam will be missed!!! RCA tried to recreate the sound when they signed Elvis, but didn't have a clue how he did it. A true innovator.
