How old?

When Ovation was using a 4 digit serial number, they were not making the Legend, model 1117. The 4 digit serial number was used in late 67 until mid 68. I suspect that there should be two zeros in front of that 4 digit number. It's the only thing I can think of (and hey, I'm still on my first cup of coffee!) that makes sense. So I think you guitar is probably about 30 years old.
