Location: Las Cruces, NM | This is a shameless promotion of my son, Bailey Jr, who has a song called "Mother May I" in the Alternative category on garageband.com as the band "probity". Being his father I am prejudiced, and if any of you check it out, let me know.

probity on garageband
You have to register, but it looks to be innocuous, you can opt out of any e-mailing.
I went over to folk/country section and listened to the top picks, cool stuff.
probity is interesting makes me want to be young again :D |

He, my son. Is not too young, he was born in 1958 and traveled with us to San Diego in 1962.

I am only 2 years older than your son.
I like the zappa quality of the lyrics.

I'm the same age. Maybe it's that I was into The Sex Pistols and The Clash in my twenties.....
What's your son's part in the band??? |

Every thing you hear on the song is done by Bailey Jr. If he had to do a concert he would have to get me and my son Charlie and who knows who else to learn all his guitar parts so he could tour. He was my best bass player, but he is also one of the best guitar players around, if you listen carefully you will hear a Yamaki acoustic (30 years Old) similar to mine.

Probably extremely prejudiced, but he was and is one of the most talented instrumetal players I have played with, and I've played with a lot. He was playing bass professionally when he was 15, and was our band's secret of success, as he laid down the solid bottom that we needed.

Garageband.com is very close to what we discussed before on our discusion of the internet as a venue for stardom. Listen up you wannabees, your chance is there. |
