Location: Phoenix AZ | Imagine how thrilled you would be if you popped open an Ovation case and inside was a factory fresh 1968 Josh White. I'm talking the real McCoy here - deep shiny bowl, inlaid rosette, slot head w/ Josh White signature, 12 fret neck, 5 point bridge. Well, dreams do come true. Look what the factory boys delivered to me today.

The factory service department has done yet another A+ restoration job. They took one of my Josh White's (I have 3) which was certainly well used, and turned it into a show piece. I swear I could sell this thing as brand new (but I won't). And the sound? Well, as you might imagine it's absolutely stunning. I don't think I've ever been more proud to own a guitar then I am this one. I can't say enough about the quality job the service department did. Far exceeded my expectations and was fast and not all that expensive. A very happy day for me.

Location: the BIG Metropolis of TR | Hey Dave,
Looks like the factory boys did a super fantastic job and I know you're proud!!
My Legend 12 is with Kim & the crew now having the neck reset - UPS delivered it about 4:30 this Wednesday afternoon and I called Kim after lunch Thursday and he said they were about to finish up and send her back!! I know the holidays are going to extend the return trip home but it should be back before the end of next week (I hope!!!)
I know I'm going to be just as happy with their work as you are - You've got one NICE  looking guitar and I'll posts some pics for everyone when my 12 returns!
btw - What all did you have done to your Josh White?

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Dave, great looking guitar. Kim and the guys did a great job restoring my old Custom Balladeer. I debated if I would send it to them, but I sure am glad I did. I cannot tell you how happy I am with the Ovation service dept. The service was great, the price was right, and I ended up with a fantastic sounding and playing old Ovation. You can't beat that.....Paul Hebert |

Location: 6 String Ranch | NIce work. They are in the process of restoring a Josh for me as well. This one the top was a gonner so we've got the new X brace with a AAAAA grade top. (we just made that up to sound impressive) all else will be original, bowl, neck and 5 point bridge, except the rosette which is inlayed but is the new style that they're doing now. should be done is a couple of weeks. Luther44 is working on it and showed me the progress last week. They do nice work there. |

Location: SoCal | Anybody know where I could find a 5 point rosewood bridge? I could be real tempted to have the same work done to my 68 deluxe balladeer, and it needs one. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Paul, Rosewood will be tough to find. But they can take a standard walnut bridge and cut it into a 5 point shape. Dave |
