Location: SoCal | A couple of weeks ago I posted a review of an Elite T super shallow bowl. I played it and liked it both acoustically and plugged in.
A few days ago, I was guitar store hopping in Hollywood and had the opportunity to play an Elite T mid depth bowl. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement. This guitar had a big sound acoustically, more like a deep bowl Legend. I talked with Kim Keller last week (before finding this guitar) and he told me that the body coating was extremely thin and that I would be surprised at the big sound. He was absolutely correct.
You may be antsy about the looks of this guitar, but I'd put say that the sound acoustically will hold it's own in any gathering (it was a helluva lot better than any Snailor I've played)! Way to go Ovation.
By the way, Miles has said basically the same thing in the past, but playing is believing. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Paul, good review and it is one of those guitars you have to play. The reaction I usually get is "cool guitar", follow by "wow, this is really well built" to when they finally strum with. "whoa! I wasn't expecting that."

Your comments about the Elite-T sound almost like something from the personal ads. Nice personality, great sense of humor, fun to be with. Just don't ask me for a photo.

Location: SoCal | Al you were absolutely right about these guitars (man that felt weird to say!). You've touted them since they came out and you were right.
Best of all, they come in black and grey so they match whatever gun I'm carrying that day. My question now is, how do I get a shoulder holster big enough to fit an Elite T? |

Maybe you should look for one of the pancake style holsters? After all, if you're a big enough guy that you can stash an Elite under your arm, you're big enough to stuff one in your pants & impress the giant girls. heheheh :p

Location: Yerington,NV | Yea great guitar! I went down to my local guitar shop to get some strings and things, and picked up the elite T hanging in the store, and WOW! what a sound it projected.But didnt care for the matte black finish though.

Location: Burbank | Well, I have to say that everytime I saw the Elite T, I steered clear because it didn't appeal to me. After reading these "testimonials" I got curious. I tried one yesterday and I was impressed. It sounded really nice and full and felt comfortable. Then I got daring and tried the MOB! Well, one out two ain't bad. It didn't do it for me, but glad I tried the T though |
