"The Doggie In The Window," Patti Page.
3/21/53.
I can remember my dad singing that song to my sister and me as little kids, so I already have fond memories related to it. He also used to sing "Stardust," "The Rubber Tree Plant," "Swing on a Star" and lots of other old ones to us.
Mom said the first song I ever sang was the original "Mickey Mouse Club Song." (Hey, now that would make a good topic.....)

Try checking your wife's. If the artist or group that did yours would make a good concert if they opened or closed for the artist or group that did hers, then perhaps you have a good marriage.
Mine is Elvis.
Hers is the Beatles.

9 months before I was born the #1 song was "The Song from Moulin Rouge (Where Is Your Heart)" by Percy Faith

Sugar Shack by Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs. Can't say I've heard it.
I've got a copy of the song from the Napster days. If you want I'll burn you a copy and send it to you. You can play it on your birthday every year as a reminder of what your parents were up to nine months earlier. Let me know.

Wow, mine is Killing me softly by Roberta Flack...hmm, I guess there could be some irony there as I usually kill em (eardrums) loudly and slightly off key, but that's ok I untune my guitar to make up for it. = )

I don't know where "Married" came into this so for the heck of it and off topic, I'll throw this out. Got my Divorce, walked out of the court House into my car and on the Radio is "Thin line between love and Hate" by the Pretenders.

on the day I was born #1 single was "Daniel Boone: Beautiful Sunday" but #1 album was "Deep Purple - Machine Head"

on my wedding day it was #1 single "Las Kanzler/Die Gerd Show: Der Steuersong" and #1 album "Robbie Williams: Escapology"

hmm.. I prefer the album on the day I was born... :)

This is a sneaky way of asking 'how old are you'. Fortunately I got 'Hey Jude' which is a song I really like.
