Regardless of whether you play amplified or unamplified buy the guitar that sounds the best to you acoustically. A pickup system, like a microphone can only reproduce the source, and while there may be exceptions a weak acoustic sound generally means a weak amplified sound.

I love my 1597 Ruby Graphite! I love the sound, the playability and the looks...
The truth is, I love ALL of my Ovations. In fact, I don't own anything that does not begin with an 'O' or an 'A'.
