So, I'm on the road with customers out late and "they" want to go to the Bob Marley place in Orlando. (It's in "City Walk" inside Universal)We push our way up to the bar and they have a video of Bob in a recording studio playing an Ovation.
This isn't a "high end" video. It looks like your uncle took the video of your garage band...

The piped in music was loud and didn't match the video playing on the tube.

On my way out they have a BM store and "yes" they have a T shirt with Bob playing the same "O". Of course it came home.

Now the kicker is I have two out of three sons that are really into Marley. When they "make fun" of my obsesion with Ovation guitars... I just say Bob and I only play the best. Oh, and I do make it clear that this was from a recoding studio. Bob would only pick "the best".

Still smiling.

There are some Marley TV documenteries showing him playing Ovations. They were played by some other Rastafarians, I think. Try a search on some video providers and you migh find a good tape of him playing Ovations.
