Location: Phoenix AZ | Yesterday's ARIZONA REPUBLIC newspaper had a big front page article on Glen Campbell including color picture (Glen lives here in Phoenix). Story was to recap his career and promote the release of his box set being released this week. No new news in the article, for those who already know and follow his career, but maybe enlightening for those new to Glen's music. The big color front page photo was of Glen playing 12 string, but sadly it was NOT an Ovation (another missed opportunity by Artist Relations).

Don't worry. Ovation is putting a lot of emphasis on beautiful, young star like KK King. |

A good article, if anybody follows up they're bound to see or hear him playing an Ovation. Maybe the box set will show him with one or more, if anybody here buys one, let us know.

I hadn't seen your page on the Goodtime site regarding the GC Deluxe Balladeer. Very cool. |

Location: Nova Scotia, Canada | Thanks Paul, it was a lot of fun putting this one together. It was great to have found all of those related items after getting the guitar. As a matter of fact, it was not until I got the first Ovation ad, the "seated" one, that I realized exactly what guitar I had.

The electronics were an after-market LR Baggs system from the mid ninties. I have since removed the preamp, which didn't work that great, and ran the pickup directly to the output jack. I have an LR Baggs Para outboard DI that is far superior to whatever model the onboard pre was. Mostly though, I play this one as a straight acoustic and use the GC Adamas when I need to plug in.

| Doesn't it seem a natural thing that Mr Campbell would be a member of our fan club?....someone care to recruit him? |
