What is it? The original Elites had the same Walnut fingerboards as the Adamas. The Walnut was impregnated with a resin to improve it's properties as a fingerboard material. If you open up your Ovation or Adamas, you can see what's inside. Normally, it's just plain, unfinished wood, but it's not in this Elite.
