Location: Just outside Dallas, TX | Live in Northern Texas (DFW area)?? I recently re-located to the Dallas Metro Area and need to find folks that like to play decent acoustic music... Everyone I find is into the Grunge metal... I CAN'T STAND 3 Chord songs!!! |

basic Blues (Now I said most, not all) which is based on 3 or 4 chords?? Again, not judging just an obsevation from a poor smuck who plays 3-4 Chord (well , maybe a few more ;) ) |

I like more along the lines of Hybrid Picking type music... Think Alex DeGrassi or Peppino D'Agostino... Been working on their stuff for a while now... amazing how ONE guy can convince your ears there are 3-4 guitars playing |

| If you can play like Alex DeGrassi, my hat's off to you, sir.
Not my usual musical cup of tea, but I can certainly appreciate the technical virtuosity needed to play it. |

Just a suggestion. Dave |

You should be able to find someone in a market as large as DFW. I can't even get the one other Boise OFCer to respond. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Sounds like an idea. I'll check the tabs I have that has the second guitar part. A lot of Maury's stuff didn't stand alone, it just filled out the song, often very distinctively. I think his part on Time in a Bottle was pretty complete, though, and probably others. I've got a bunch of it running through my head right now. If I can't figure out the scanner (still), I'll mail it to you. |

Sent both the original 2 guitar format on all and some "mashed-up" single guitar ones that sound like both are there |

Location: Just outside Dallas, TX | So... I think enough have them now... I'll rebuild my Web site soon enough... Once the Owner of PowerTabs finishes negotiations with the MPA we will be able to post 22K+ songs again...
The strange thing is the Publishers are the ones getting the Royalties NOT the artists that created the Music!!! Several in the Tabbing community are friendly with lesser known artists and have discovered that even though there are several books with their music in them... they receive NOTHING when the book sells... Unless they publish it and create the Tabbed work themselves...
Keep that in mind when purchasing books folks... Sometimes it's more fun to find the general Chords listed and figure out the individual notes from there... At least more fulfilling |
