Thinline Pickups

Bluebird Posted 2003-11-16 11:07 PM (#200978) Subject: Thinline Pickups Joined: May 2002 Posts: 1445 Location: Nova Scotia, Canada Just wondering if the newer, thinner saddle pickups are compatable with the older, straight acoustic guitars?, Also, are they available in a version that goes straight to a 1/4 jack for use with an outboard preamp? There's no reason why you couldn't wire a Thinline directly to an output jack & use an external pre-amp.
