Hey Guys:
What is the difference between the Legend and Balladeer guitars? They look very similar and are both made in the US.
Thanks.
Jim

Are you talking about current models or older versions? The differences are a little more difficult to spot on the earlier examples as they both had 5-piece necks and the Legend was basically an upgraded Balladeer, so they appear quire similar. Essentially the differences were that the Legend used a higher grade top with different bracing (VT and later A on the Legend, X on the Balladeer) The Balladeer had an unbound ebony 'board with dot inlays, the Legend had a bound ebony 'board with dots & diamonds. Also the legend had gold tuners while the Balladeer had nylon-bodied chrome tuners.

The current Legend and Balladeer models are very
different. Some of the differences are; top-grade, fingerboard material, inlay pattern, rosette, neck-construction (2-piece v 5 piece) pickup & electronics, Finish, (satin v gloss)there's several others.
