Just found out that a couple of tickets came our way for the annual Christmas broadcast from Town Hall here in NYC tomorrow night. I'd been trying for the past couple of years for tickets, to no avail. I'm psyched! |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Congrats, Cliff!! I doubt Garrison's Gang will ever visit Yakima. Hey, I hear Randy Newman is scheduled for the show. That should be a real hoot! Make sure you consume plenty of ketchup, for the good times.
Enjoy,

Location: Madison, Wisconsin | It always sells out here in Madison as well. Wish we were there. My wife listens to NPR all the time in the kitchen so PHC is a standard for us. Have a good time. |

Location: Indiana | I enjoy it very much and would love to see a show sometime. I think I love the storytelling as much as the music. It's an art form in itself. NPR's The Thistle and Shamrock is also great. It's where I first heard Pierre Bensusan. When I first heard 'Pres de Paris it was hard to believe I was listening to a sixteen year old.

Maybe not Yakima but back when I was working in the Yakima area (in the early 80's, had a house in escrow when Mt. St. Helens blew) - he did bring his show to Seattle. |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | And I would go in a heartbeat, Tony. Those shows are really fun to watch. I have used their streaming video option before (given usual two hour time difference) to get a sense of the live performance atmosphere.
As for St. Helens, it still ranks as a sentinel event in these parts, like JFK, 9/11, and Pearl Harbor, "I remember where I was when......" |
