Location: san francisco | Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and recently new to playing guitar as I am learning with my 9 year old daughter - very excited.
We've been playing for 6 months now and I think it's time to graduate to a higher quality instrument, and I've targeting Ovation electric acoustics.
That said, I stumbled onto a posting for a used one, but the picture has me a bit confused and concerned the unit is not what it should be...in fact there's a strap that goes around the body of the guitar that the sell says he knows nothing about and that his 'expert friends' say they know nothing about either and that it's cosmetic and nothing's wrong with the guitar...hmmm
Anyway, I thought I'd shoot this out to the true experts to get your opinion - since i can't attached pictures, the strap attaches on the edge of each side of the guitar and goes around the back of the unit (seller says that "The strap is metal with felt around the inside".
Let me know your thoughts.
