Location: Austin | I just picked one up and want to find out a bit about the guitar. It appears to have a Mahogany neck and has a brown back. Sunburst spruce top and nice bound rosewood board with pretty inlays. When were these produced? Is it USA made? The serial number is in the 115000 range. I really like the shape of the neck. It starts like a soft V shape and then rounds out up when you go up the neck. Any info would be appreciated. |

Location: Israel | I own a 1517 Ultra for a few years now and I must say this guitar is superior !! This is the most tuning stable guitar I ever played. I can stay tuned left in the case for weeks !! and for the whole session and beyone when played. It also has a great amplification and cuts mixes very nicely. A great guitar. Made in 84 probably. |
